i watched it last night, and i thought it was ok, but just that.
tim burtons awesome sets and costume and general gothicness was awesome to look at and i really want hbc's dresses so much, but im very squeamish and i didnt look at half the killings. i also found it a bit slow to get into, it took an hor before he killed the first guy which was a bit pants really.
i really liked the songs and i thought depp and hbc did an awesome job in the vocal department, my favourite being the by the sea song. made me laugh cos todd facial expression did not change at all hehe... but they didnt use the sweeny todd song, the one i knew from preivously cos my brother will liked to sing it alot... cheers will.... i though that would have been a good opening credits song.... but im not tim burton
the ending was a bit weird i didnt expect the kid to keil johhny, i was expecting the whole him going to jail thing, but i guess that it added to what he had said earlier abuot how people like them found death as a relief, and i guess figuring out u had just killed the person you were killing for must suck alot...
overall i liked it but i cant stand too much gore and hid behind my hello kitty cushion on virtually every death.... i get scared at the x files and films thats are a 12 so please cut me some slack... i am a wuss.
