Home?
It's curious to me that my ancestors... and by ancestors, I mean "Grandpa"... thought that Cleveland, Ohio has a habitable climate. I realize that people who don't know any better do eke out a living (is eke a word?) in some questionable climates. Siberia, Ethiopia, Cleveland, etc. Thanks to the wonders of technology, though, we do know better now. So why do we stay? Freaking roots and stuff.
It was about 80 degrees and sunny when I left Las Vegas. It was about 40 and rainy when I got "home". I love my family, and I'd miss them terribly if I went somewhere with reasonable weather, but I still find myself considering it.
