And I really liked the idea of exploring how uncomfortable Angel might be with a younger sister to contend with.

Yes, its something we never got to see, did we? People like to forget Angel’s a predator - I wonder if the cat sees him as a big cat?

This is adorable! I would have liked to have seen some Angel and Dawn interactions on screen, but this is a great window into what it might have been like.

Thank you. Yes, it’s interesting to speculate, as we never had the chance to see how they got on. There is no doubt that a little sister would have certainly put a different slant on things.

Oooh! Angel & Dawn! My favorite! I love that you have her trying to be sophisticated and him just being uncomfortable, though hopefully that was early on and they bonded a little later.

When Angel's sadism came up, all I could think was "When's the next Harsh Reality??" It's so rare to see that most fascinating side of him.

I saw this as some point really early in their relationship, when Dawn would have been very young.

Was that a hint? That side of him intrigues me. What a complex creature he is… I’d forgotten how much I love playing with him. As to HR - it’s coming, I promise. I didn’t realise you were a fan! Do you have a favourite part in the series so far?

Yeah, I'm pretty much addicted to HR. The thing is, though, that it hits me right in the fetishes, and I'm very skittish about mentioning those anywhere public. So if I'm not actively vocalizing my interest, that's why.

I think I liked "Limits" best. Or "She Bleeds".

Oh, this is lovely. I've missed your writing.

Jo had already quoted my favourite parts, Angel's lurking sadism and his huge paw...however, this other line I really liked.

“He was under the bench when I arrived,” Angel responded quietly, wondering how on earth she hadn’t known the cat was there.

Angel has been a vamp for so long I think he's forgotten how limited human senses are.
