This is the perfect length for a rosebud as rosebuds used to be counted at around 500 words. Yay, you!

Nice to see Buffy having a go at trying to redecorate the bathroom.

Why red for the bathroom?

Angel's eyes slide to the corners of the room. Is it because of the red paint, reminding him of blood and mayhem? Or is there another reason?

My grandparents' bathroom is red and I think it looks really nice, but the paint is fading around the edges of the room, which I always notice when I'm there.

I think it's just as Buffy says: he's a little obsessive. The fact that the paint needs a touch up bugs him every time he sees it.

Ah, the course of true love - and apparently, painting - never runs smoothly, does it? What happened to all of the Slayer grace that we know and love?
