Hello,
I am The Leveret
I'm relatively new to fandom and fiction-writing, but I am very excited to get involved.
I started out reading Riddick stuff several years ago, mostly through Art of Vin Diesel. I never really dabbled much with FanFiction.net as I found it a bit difficult to navigate and find exactly what I was in the mood for. I read a LOT, but didn't feel compelled to write anything back then, which is fortunate because it would have been probably aweful and over-run with Mary-Sue-isms and the like. To top it off, I had never really written prose.
Lately though I've been called to write fiction. It started out with stuff in response to Skyrim and then I stumbled across the great and hallowed Porn-Battle on Dreamwidth. From there, I migrated onto the ever-popular Inception Fandom and since there are hundreds upon hundreds of stories and more posted every day I have found an excellent distraction from writing my thesis for the past six months.
So, this journal is my attempt at getting involved with fanfiction. One thing I've been telling my friends about the whole fanfiction thing (in an effort to get them to read the stories) is that some of the authors are brilliant. They write amazing sex, fabulous humor and either present the characters in a 'realistic' canonical way or in a novel way that is still completely believable. These writers have made me laugh, there are a few out there who made me cry and I'm really eager to get involved with such a supportive community.
Anyway, this is my schpeal. Stories will be showing up soon.
