I Hate The Late Shifts!
I really do!
You know why?
A few reasons....
1/. By the time I get out of here at 8pm I have to rush home, whip up dinner, drive to Brendons work in laverton to take the dinner to him (which evidently means dinner on those nights has to be quicky easy stuff) and don't get to physically relax until about 10pm!
2/. The busiest time of the day for sales is about 5pm - 7pm and whoever does the late shift is normally here by themselves during that time. Which means running around like a mad woman, touring people, signing them up and taking phone enquries.
3/. Because I don't start till 12 I get comfy at home. Im not a big sleeper inner so I still get up at like 8am which means I get to spend hours chilling out, chatting with Bren and relaxing. After all that free time it makes it even harder to want to get up and go to work!
So yeh on late shift again today and clearly not happy about it. Also our server is down till at least 3pm so there's not alot for me to do till thats up and going...we have no links (our main software) and J drive where all our files are held is down aswell. Damn technology!
Kind of not looking forward to the weekend, don't know why.
I promised I would go to Jono's 21st for abit and I was originally looking forward to that but now I kinda cbf. I haven't seen any of that crowd in awhile and I have a feeling Im not going to know alot of people and the ones I will know, I won't really have alot to talk about with them as we've all grown so apart.
I will still go but I won't stay long.
Mum wants to go to that chinese place for dinner and Im thinking now that would be a better night out...Im sucha foodie, a good night out for me tends to be dinner and drinks somewhere nice with good company. I just smsed her then, maybe we can go before Jono's 21st or something?
So yeh this weekend won't be anything special and I dunno Im sorta just meh about it.
One thing I am looking forward to is spending some time with Brendon though, were due for some quality face to face time I reckon.
Arrrrgggghhh so friggen bored...and hungry but I cnt really take my lunch break now, I've only been here an hour. Might go at like 3 when the IT guy gets here then when I get back the server should be up and running. Thinking about having KFC silvana just had some in our office and the smell drove me mental. I know Im being good dietwise this week but I allow myself take away once a week so this can be it. I did attack on tuesday and Im getting in the gym tomorrow for a workout so yeh I can justify it.
Alright not much more to add, might be on later who knows....today will drag on Im sure!
