Well last night went up shit creek completely, but at least I can laugh about it now.
I planned to have a relaxing bath while I waited for bren to get home, get really baked and cook a yummy feast of spring rolls and home made Mi Goreng for dinner.
First the bath.
I was nicely baked and all set to go in the bath. Had the room looking enchanting with lots of scented candles lit, the lights off an family guy ready to watch on the lap top. As I was filling the bath I noticed the water was icy cold. I tried all the taps in the house and same thing everywhere which meant the pilot light had turned off. I wasn't too keen to go outside and try to fix it, not just because it was 12 degrees and with winds up to 110km outside but mainly because I was baked and had no idea what to do. It would have to wait until Brendon came home.
So I decide to at least cook some spring rolls, Im hungry and I can have my entree while I wait for Bren and just do his when he arrives. I decide to fry the spring rolls so they come out crunchier but stupid me put the heat up to high and of course as soon as I added the spring roll to the oil it began to pop and hiss loudly, spitting oil everywhere to the point where I couldn't go near it.
Im waiting for the popping to stop.
It doesn't, it gets worse and worse until lo and behold the whole pan catches fire!
The flame is huge, it goes all the way up to the rangehood and spreads out under the above cupboards and the only thought that runs through my mind is that the house is going to burn down and it'll be all my fault*. I think about my friend Jessica and wonder whether this is how her fire started with her stoned and trying to cook munchies.
I act on impulse and reach into the fire and grab the pan by the handle. I quickly dump it in the sink and turn the water on full and to my releif the fire goes out.
I have to sit and calm myself down for a minute before I can venture back into the kitchen to see the damage.
Not much, luckily. Abit of black smoke stains on the cupboard and back tiles but they are easily scrubbed off with multi purpose cleaner and a metal sponge. The whole kitchen stinks, stinks like burnt rubber and I end up having to put a pedastal fan on to get rid of the smell. By the time Brendon comes home Im alot calmer but still too freaked out to want to even attempt cooking and we end up at KFC getting a fat feast for dinner.
Bren got his NXT Generation pills last night and we decided to each try 3 purple exploding happiness. Not what I expected, better in away. They aren't herbal highs exactly but there is definately a noticable shift in mood from the pills. We both felt just generally in a better mood, as if we had had a cup of Damiana tea. This is exactly the kind of thing I need in my product range, a supplement of amino acids and vitamins that can be taken as a daily thing to help improve overall health and wellbeing. I still need to try the rest in the range but Im thinking these would be perfect in my Good Thymes range, particularly for young people living active lives that include working, studying and some sort of fitness program. These natural supplements help you get anything your body might be missing out on to help you get the most out of your day.
Apparently I have another parcel at mums, Im guessing this will be my jungle cabbage and thank goodness because Im fresh out as of last night. Have been making my mixes mostly california poppy so I can wean myself off the JWH as the ban takes effect next Monday! Am happy to smoke California Poppy instead, its the nicest little stone Ive gotten from anything legal.
*We also don't have contents insurance so we would really be stuffed!
