so allen and i were at ozzfest today, and we were trying to get up to the front and stay there, but we couldnt help that all of these bastards who dont wear shirts and sweat like pigs in a smoker were being assholes and pushing and punching everyone. seriously, common courtesy, if you are going to be in a crowd of people, and its going to be hot, and you are going to be sweating, please make sure to take a shower that morning, clean up all nice, wear clean clothes, and KEEP THEM ON. i dont mind the girls wearing swimsuits so much because they arent flying around sweating like pigs punching us, but those assholes...me and allen showed them what was up...

hokay, so if you werent paying attention because you hate me, allen and i went to ozzfest today and killed it. we got in, got over to the second stage, and rocked out right in the front until bleeding through, then we decided to start some chaos...so we ran into the huge ridiculous pit they had going, and i decided to promptly destroy it, with allen in tow...i dont know what he did because he kind of dissapeared and found me a few mins later...so we watched bleeding through and killed things during them, and i saw the hot keyboardists vagina...her skirt was ridiculous...and when they were over, unearth played, and everyone went crazy, but the best part is next...FUCKING ATREYU!
basically, we had shirtless guys pushing/punching us, and we promptly had to rock them in the kidneys to show them what was up, because you know, we really dont play...so we destroyed more things during atreyu, and allen caught a guitar pick from the amazing guitarrist with all the guitars i want, and i had the bassist point at me and sing with me (allen says its because we both have red hair, but i call bs), and i had the awexome guitarrist do the same thing, it was fan-freakin-tastic...then we headed over to the merch booth and hooked ourselves up with t-shirts, then saw joe avery and chatted with him in line to get some water, then went and sat in our seats just in time to see dragonforce. it wasnt what i expected because nobody really seemed to be into it, everyone seemed to be just kind of getting over the second stage that they really didnt care about dragonforce, i didnt really seem like i was into it to people i guess, but i was too busy trying to figure out how in the hell they play so goddamn fast! fastest music ever...listen to it and im sure you will have a heart attack just from how fast the guitars go...and all of the rest was a good solid o.k.
we decided to leave after a couple of ozzys songs because we were both really tired, and allen needed to get up early, so we watched the first two songs, and it kind of made me depressed for ozzy. he is getting so old that he cant do what he loves very well anymore. i remember the first ozzfest i went to like 5 years ago he was jumping around on stage, running around, doing all kinds of crazy stuff, but now he just kind of seems weak and fragile, not wanting to move and get hurt at all. there have been a few speculations on how this might be his last ozzfest, and i kind of hope it is, i feel really bad for the guy, after all those drugs and touring over the years, it has really taken its toll...but, anywho, ive got more to talk about than a huge random post about ozzfest:
tomm night is movie/board game night, you gimme a call sometime after 7 and i will let you know exactly whats going on, we dont want 100 people, but about 10 will be good i guess...that might even be a bit much, so here is whats going to happen, we will decide if we have too many people or not, and those people that are coming over will bring either a) 2 movies of their choice, or b) 1 board game of their choice...either way, this is going to be one promising night, i think ive got things worked out well, how bout you? but make sure to call me fast because i hate it when we have like 10 or 15 people over and everyone is whining to do something else, so we are sticking to that plan, and if you dont abide by it, you will not be allowed to come over or stay, whichever is more adherent to the situation, and on to more!
taste of tacoma is this weekend, me and zak are going i think...i doubt katie is going with us because it doesnt look like she can fit any time into her action-packed schedule for me and zak, so we might just be going alone, anyone else want to join us at all? we will either be going saturday or sunday, prob sunday bc ive got work from 3-10 on sat, so gimme a call and we can figure something out...
welp, im going to need to be hitting the good old dusty trail here, so i will be catchin yall later
