Duh.
A couple politcal things to bitch about if I may:
1. This has bothered me forever. The issues behind calling people "African-American." Now I am a fairly staunch liberal, but I think this nomenclature is beyond stupid. The kid in my class whose ancestors came to the Americas from Africa hundreds of years prior to mine arriving from Germany in the last century is considered an African-American, whereas I am dubbbed a simple white American. That is ridiculous. I am FAR more German-American than such a person is African-American. The desire to label people is so fucking lame. People are people. Some have ancestors who originated from different countries in different eras. We are all people.
If we really want to continue the "African American" diatribe, then I am just as much an African American as the next black kid is. Seriously. All of our ancestors evolved from ape species in Africa. ALL of us. So, then, by definition, we are ALL African Americans, right? Just as much as everyone in Europe or Asia are African Americans. Maybe groups like the NAACP and other such lobby groups figured out that if they refrained from demanding such titles, the necessity to group races or colors or what the fuck ever like they do would cease among those they are fighting against.
2. Stop bitching about taxes you ingnorant fuck. Thanks to the current administration, this is the first time EVER that we have had tax cuts concurrent with a war campaign. Are you fucking kidding me? Why is the country in the largest deficit of all time? DUH! Taxes are good. They not only pay for our futures as senior citizens, but they also fund programs that enable the country to move forward as the greatest country ever. I wish people would get beyond the fact that taxes really don't affect them that much. Are you a millionaire? I'd hazard a guess to say that you aren't. Then regardless of the tax cuts, you REALLY aren't going to see a difference. Same with the inheritance tax. Farmers NEVER lost a farm thanks to the inheritance tax, but that's not what GW and his administration led you to believe. Thanks to the cut of the inheritance tax, the country loses BILLIONS of dollars a year from corporations who are barely affected by said tax. Taxes are good. Do you like having a forward moving economy? Do you like having nice things in our country? Yeah. Thought so.
