I just got my grades for my first semester of graduate school; my GPA is a 3.75
I promise you that I am not bragging, just being surprised that I could pull it off. I am, for the first time in a long time, proud of myself.
It has been a hellish month. There have been numerous change-overs at the radio station, and my schedule is getting chock-full of interviews and stuff. Boooorrring. I get this week off, and then I am teaching TC343 (Audio & Radio Production) for the first summer session at MSU. SO that means I get July - August off! (Besides my internship/programming duties). I am also taking a couple classes this summer, as being a TA I have to maintain at least half-time enrollment. I'm taking a film/video production course, which I hear is pretty decent, and then throwing some credits away on my masters thesis research.
The whole thesis thing is a tad stressful, as I am still not entirely sure of my subject. Oh well.
I dropped $300 on new tires and sprockets for the bike today. After riding it for only a month, I have discovered that I am going to need to upgrade soon. The 250 is just too small for me. I was looking at new bikes today, cruisers, and the 750/800's start at around $4500, which isn't too bad. I don't know. I may wait until I move somewhere more condusive to riding a bike more than 2 months out of the year.
