A question for the girls
I keep reading in trashy women's magazines that everyone's getting a 'Hollywood wax' done in beauty salons these days. Is this really true? I'm getting bored with shaving and it would be nice to not have to bother for a while - but do people REALLY walk into beauty salons and ask to get their muffs waxed? I'm seriously very innocent about these things. In fact I have never actually been in a beauty salon, full stop. [the first person to say 'it shows' gets struck of my friends list for a whole day].
Actually I did go into a beauty salon once. It was a friends wedding and I went with her to get her makeup done, and got mine done at the same time. It was horrible! They used this awful orange foundation and I looked a sight. [which makes me wonder if these are the sort of people I want to have playing around with hot wax 'down below'].
I do have a friend who was a beauty therapist and qualified in these things but I don't think she's ever waxed external reproductive organs. And anyway, if someone's going to get that close, they have to be either a sexual partner or a complete stranger, I think. It's not like a bikini line - they have to go ....... you know ....... underneath and everything.
So is this a normal thing to ask for? You just phone up and book a Hollywood wax, right?
