Oh. Oh. This is marvelous. Both sensual and painful, with just the right amount of wistfulness. And it's a wonderful illustration of just how interconnected they all are.

Thanks! I'm so glad you like it. It was late because I wanted to focus on Gwen/Morgana but Arthur kept getting tugged in and that meant Merlin as well, until I gave up and just went with how tangled up their lives are.

This is lovely. So much in so few lines, it says so much about their lives in a kind of bittersweet way. Loved it!

Thanks! Even when they make it work, no one gets exactly what they want. Or at least the world exacts its price.

I don't think it was intentional, but whenever you plug the series back into the larger context of the myth, their young carelessness becomes so poignant. And they all love each other so much.
