An Image in the Mind
In visions she's seen him call down lightning and level whole forests, seen him kill in anger, for Arthur, for revenge. She's seen her hands bloodstained, confused images of a dark wood and a deep silvery moat, has felt the awful give of his mind as she forces her way into his dreams, the years Merlin will spend barely able to sleep.
His hands curl around her waist, sliding up to cup her breasts, his touch almost too light. She leans forward and kisses him, his soft beautiful mouth, hands braced against the sheets on either side of his head.
