I'm up at
Good Reads now. If anybody else is on there, let me know so I can friend you.
Also: I've finished my OT3'verse Three of Swords inspired Hisoka wallpaper. I always manage to forget how delicately beautiful Hisoka is because the version in my head has grown so fierce, increasingly self-possessed and full of this cool, tightly contained violence, in blood stepped in too far and made of sharply defined edges...
My Hisoka used to be kind and awkward and a little vague, very much the Hisoka of the anime, not the manga. Those most responsible for the change know who they are.
So there's something about that fragile, blown-glass beauty that's now like a slap in the face. It's eerie.
And I'm banking on this to inspire me to get back to work on my Tsuzuki Hisoka OT3'verse get-together fic. I've never written a get-together fic before! It's all very exciting and, being Yami, I get to soak everything in blood and bright silvery magic, while Tsuzuki falls further and further to pieces. I just have to fix some persistently irritating sentence rhythm problems, which I'm sure I will post about eventually. And figure out why this has to be set on earth and not in Meifu, and why where it's set matters.
Also: I must find a new mood-theme. But as to what, I am stymied. My fannish affections are curiously unengaged.
