I think I'm trying to trick myself into doing it: having gone to the trouble to put up my fic list I might as well just go all the way, right? *g* Because if I think about it too much, I'll remember how much I hate writing on deadlines.
Well, and I can hardly pretend I don't understand all about the tricking yourself. Last year I dithered up until the last moment, despite having organized my links days and days before that, and even though there was some level on which I'd probably already decided to do it.
I stopped obsessively checking a few days ago -- when you put this post up, in fact. But up to that point, it was looking as if there were enough of us that there shouldn't be a matching problem. But not as if there would be enough that there was any realistic chance that we'd be matched with strangers. Last year the person who got stuck with me was someone I'd never encountered online at all; while I haven't read the fine print on all the nearly 300 comments that had been posted when I stopped checking back, I nevertheless have the distinct impression that that isn't going to happen this year. Whether this is good or bad I'm not sure.
Well, hooray! There seems to be a great deal of anime/manga people signing up this year, though the fandoms are much more spead out than the main concentration of YnM and Saiyuki that we had last year.

Not that I want to put pressure on you, or suggest that I've noticed the way you aren't on the signup list yet, or anything annoying like that.

BTW, how's the number of Yami sign-ups looking?
