WE had the first day of VBS yesterday, and will continue to for the rest of the week. Ashlie came and it totally kept it from being boring. But, I did ok on my lines, I've got a lot more in todays skit though. Hmmm, I played Satan on our last mission trip, and a few times after it, and now I'm the bad guy again...hmmm I hope I'm not bein type cast. Any rate, Ashlie and I prayed for eachother and ourselves and lot of things and it was awesome, sorta an eyeopener, as to how much I love this woman. So, while I was prayin, I promised God my fidelity, my unwaivering devotion, and loyalty to His will, and that I would be loyal to Ashlie as long as she was with me, and that I wouldn't let Satan mess with my life with her. I know I say it alot, but I still am baffled as to why God is blessing me with Ashlie, the previous year I wasn't a very good christian, the year before that I wasn't one at all. I've only really been kickin into Jesus gear since summer started. So, this next year at MC, I'm gonna try really hard to be a "little Christ" to my peers, the populars and the dregs, the athletes and the mathletes, the gangstas and the crackas, seniors and freshmen, friend and foe, prep and goth, sober and druggie, the undesirables, the tax collectors, the pharisees, I want to be a little christ to them all. I want people to pass me in the hall and say to themselves "That guy loves God, I wish I had passion like that" or "That guy is always happy about something...I bet it's God" or something along those lines. I want to be a bright light in the halls of darkness and the "River that runs through Hell" as the graduates call it. I want to do, the right thing. But untill the year comes, I'll love God, love Ashlie, and love life, and try to live it to the fullest.
