So I dunno... Having travelled around last night in a Rolls Royce limo I have got to say... I still like driving myself. I mean, I dunno. I found it kind of disorienting not knowing exactly where I was, even though, yes, we were travelling in style.
It's funny, luxury/celebrity are so... they seem so concrete before you actually get up and meet people and ride around in all these things and spent obscene amounts of money on things... but... I dunno. There's somethign so real about being able to do it all yourself, about not being able to go to a restaurant and not have your meal continually interrupted... about knwoing where you're going, how to get there, and controlling the way you drive. I guess... well, I'm not entirely sure.
It's fun sometimes to live it up, but I'm going with that whole 'money can't buy you happiness'. It can, however, let you do things that make you happy.
Then again, right now I'm on a student-sized budget and I'm doing pretty well thanks.
