Herro everyone!!!

So I'm just gonna cut to the chase ... I SAW LINDSAY HALLETT THESE PAST TWO DAYS! (I know I know, her family doesn't know she's in Boston .. but no one in the Hallett clan reads this, so it's fine I type this) .. And as most of you know, I've missed her like woa over this past year.

Last night, we finally got to put our hiatus, well, on hiatus. Around 7ish, I headed into town to meet up with her. I met her in Cambridge(!!) and we quickly decided we needed to have a night of gushing about all things which make us laugh. Duh. Nothing new. We sashay'd back to my car (while lookin' extra fierce, as we always do) so we could decide on where to go. Eventually, we settled on and made it to the South End. We saddled on up to two empty barstools at Stephie's and put our order in for apps and martinis. Hey .. we had to fuel ourselves while we were chit-chattin' away all night! The good thing about Lindsay and my situation is that we pretty much talk everyday .. so there was nothing awkward about not seeing one another for over a year. (Well, other than forgetting how amazing we each looked...) When the food was eaten, and the drinks were guzzled, we ended up staying at our lil bar for almost two hours. It felt like 10 minutes, (maybe it was the two drinks apiece...) but apparently we were there for awhile. We made a quick booze run for her at Shaw's after we left our mark on Stephie's .. and then I had to drop her back off in Hahvahd Squeah. However, before I shooed her out of my car, we promised we'd get breakfast the next morning..

Cut to noon the next day. Woopsieee Brian and Lindsay overslept. Our B. But, about 20 minutes after I woke up, I was on the road heading towards Boston. Before we met up, I saw my advisor (uselesss) and applied at a restaurant (hopefully not so uselesss). She and I eventually caught up on Newbury (where else?) so we could get some shopping/walking around stores time in. However, it was ecstatically nostalgic for her to drag me around women's specialty shops a la doting gay friend. *longing sigh* Then, to be uber-trendy and pseudo-Euro, we went to L'Aroma (you know, the place I worked a year and a half ago) so we could get our overpriced eats on. But, being the social butterfly I am, I yucked it up with my old manager to get half off our food. Boo-yahhh! I guess it's good to know low people in low places. We ate our quiche/vegan wrap (guess who got which) and talked about everything for another hour. We also (because this is Newbury and you need to be SEEN!) smoked Fantasia cigarettes and took wicked pissah pix at our lil cafe table. Afterwards, we went to Sweet so we could get cupcakes (uhm, it is US I'm talking about, duh we needed sugar/carbz). Ensuite, we headed back to my car so I could take her back to Cambridge. Luckily, rush hour was just starting, so it took us 25 minutes to get from NU to Harvard. Yay ... more time with Lindzerly! During said time, we took more great pix of ourselves (and eating cupcakes .. mm .. no wonder we're single). Oh, and car-eoke to some 90's hits. (Aw! Fun!) Sadly, because Mass Ave has about one lane for two directions of traffic, we didn't get much of a goodbye -- but we're so going to see each other before another year passes!!!

I had a great time seeing her! Ahhhh she hasn't even left yet and I already missss herrrr <3

In a while crocodiles!
