In a couple of hours, I'll be on my way to Scotland for the weekend. Try not to break the internet while I'm away. :P
When I get back, you're going to be treated to a massive compilation post about The Writing MA Road Trip 2011 (the joyous escapades of eight MA students in rainy Wales!), 's birthday night out on Canal Street in Manchester (including the random dancing dudes who tried to 'seduce'
scripteens and I with invisible lassoos), and what happened in Scotland (probably nothing but rain :P).
Aren't you all just so excited?! /sarcasm
Oh, and when I get back, expect squeeful reaction posts about the penultimate (?) Doctor Who episode (OMG OMG it's Craig from 'The Lodger'! He has a pram!), and the new serieses (?) of Glee and Hawaii Five-0. And probably Downton Abbey if I can catch up with all of S1. Maybe even a bit of Doc Martin because Martin Clunes and grumpiness and babies. *nods* (Yeah, I'm branching out in old-lady dramas now. :/ Great news for you guys, hehe!)
As I said before, try not to break anything. ;) Don't do anything I wouldn't do. And that doesn't leave much. Well. Basically, sushi and mini-golf.
... Oh, wait, sorry. That's a line from Fright Night. Which you should definitely all go and see if you haven't already. Treat that as your while-Alice-is-away task. There'll be a quiz upon my return.
Ciao!
Not really about the quiz. But really about the film. Go. Watch.Enjoy. Drool over David Tennant in leather. Marvel that Anton Yelchin is actually more adorable and badass as Charlie than he was as Chekov. Delight in vampires that are proper vampires that are sexy and yet utterly terrifying. Watch it now!
