I couldn't let such an awesome date pass me by without making an LJ post about it. :P
Also, just to confirm: Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated. (My jaw has not yet asploded from grossness and taken my brain with it, no worries. It's unlikely to do that any time soon.) I have had Freshers' Flu, though - and it was bad enough to make me unable to get out of bed on Friday. I'm much better now. To further confirm, I am in Warwick and the Writing course is good so far. I've met some lovely people; some of them are even as crazy as I am! XD
Sadly, though, I am without internet in the house I'm living in. Which, let me tell you, is hard. I don't know how I get through the day. (I'm currently using my 3Phone as a dongle so I can check emails/use Twitter, but it costs £5 for 150MB, which is, pretty much, nothing. It's certainly not enough for me.) I'm using a university computer at the moment, to make this post and to do various other things I've been itching to do on the 'net all weekend.
So, basically, I'll be back on the 18th (hopefully) when the nice Virgin man *snerk* comes to fix up our broadband. You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to that day. :P
Further News From The Life Of Alice: This morning, I joined the LARP Society. Feel free to shun me now, if you so wish, but I've been waiting all my life for an excuse to put on medieval armour and run around in the woods waving a sword. >P Also, there's a guy who habitually has his LARP character run around topless covered in woad. And he's pretty. :P There's also a Glee Society; I am a member of that, too. Yeah, I can feel you all withdrawing to a safe distance ...
OH! And I've started re-watching Merlin S1 (because, with no internet, I can't keep up with S3 *cry*). Good ol' S1. Now I remember why I started 'shipping Merlin/Arthur in the first place! It's delightful. (The Poisoned Chalice! Re-watched it last night, OMG, you guys! Theirloveissodamnedobvious.) I'm gearing up to start working on my multi-chapter Merlin fic again, I think ...
