The Plan
OK, so I have a Plan. But first, an art rec.

I didn't participate in the Good Omens Exchange this year (*SOB*) because last year I nearly went mental trying to do two fic exchanges and NaNo. This year, I jetissoned the exchanges (*sniffle*) in favour of NaNo. Good for my sanity, but I feel ... well, disappointed in myself. (Yeah, yeah, cry more, emo!Alice - I know.)
Now: The Plan
I have a Cunning Plan. OK, so it's not all that cunning, but it is plan-like. It goes something like this:
Today
1) Do half of this week's Old Norse translation (for Wednesday) - DONE!
2) Do this term's Old Norse formative work (another translation) - DONE!
3) Plan Modern Period Essay (including looking up library books) - DONE! 4 days late ...
4) Plan Medieval Lit. Essay (including looking up library books) - DONE!
5) Read at least one (1) article or one (1) chapter of something for The Dissertation - DONE!
6) Wrap presents for English Lit. friends* - DONE!
7) Catch up with one (1) episode of Merlin! \o/ - DONE! \o/
I watched Lady of the Lake. It was equal parts tragic, hilarious and "OMFG Merlin, really?!" <3
* This is mainly on there because I have this undying urge to scrabble about with wrapping paper, and I don't really know why. It's not like I don't have time to, you know, do it later ... I'm weird. EDIT: It was fun! *bounce*
Tomorrow
1) Do the other half of this week's Old Norse translation (for Wednesday) - DONE! A day early, too!
2) Get library books for both essays - DONE! With bonus extra books!
3) Write at least one (1) essay (by hand, it's faster) - DONE!
4) Go into town and buy Other Christmas Presents (and a card from Grandma) - DONE!
5) Read at least one (1) article or one (1) chapter of something for La Dissertation - DONE! Technically ... >.>;;
6) Catch up with one (1) episode of Merlin! \o/ - outstanding (until yesteday's #3 everything is done)
Wednesday -- TOTAL FAIL. NOTHING DONE.
1) Copy up complete essay and tweak to perfection - DONE! One day late ...
2) Write some of the other essay (by hand, it's faster) - DONE! 3 days late ...
3) Read at least one (1) article or one (1) chapter of something for El Dissertation - outstanding - Balls to this.
4) Catch up with one (1) episode of Merlin! \o/ - outstanding (until everything is done)
If I stick to my plan, I'll be fully caught up with Merlin by Wednesday. (And yes, I know the Squeepost promise was a lie. Oh, well. Evevntually, you will get them.) If I don't get stuff done ... I don't get to watch Merlin. It's bribery, but hey - it works. XD
On Thursday, I shall bribe myself with Glee to get the last bit of essay done - and then I should be free as the wind blows come Friday! Which would obviously be awesome. Bring on the Christmas Socialising!
And, of course, the Christmas Fic Writing Bonanza. (I have at least two ideas for Merlin/Arthur fics. One of them is from last year. The other is new, and based on a carol. You'll find out which one when I've written it.)
I'll be updating The Plan to indicate 'done' stuff throughout today (and possibly over the next few days). Wish me luck!
EDIT: Saturday December 12th - THE PLAN IS (to all intents and purposes) COMPLETE!
I can not wtch Merlin, huzzah! \o/
At the weekend, my parents came up and we went to the Christmas Market. It was a really good day, and I was so glad to see them. ^^ Also, it gave me an excellent opportunity to scope out what they might like - so I went back yesterday and bought their Christmas presents. :D Now I just have my nan and my friends to sort out ... :S
At least I've done the cards!
And yes, I have cracked open the Christmas Songs. :P *sings along, loudly*
