Why the fuck is Piers Morgan on my TV asking Cliff Richard about his sexuality?!

Exactly. You would think that in a so-called 'civilised' society, we would be above caring about the gender of the person someone chooses to be in a romantic relationship with. It is a waste of time, and I honestly don't see why people care. It's not like they're going to stop or start liking someone's music because of their sexuality, so what difference does it make?

... This subject really gets me. I just don't understand why it matters. D:

You're right, it's not everyone - but sadly, there's enough people out there who want to know that the interviewers must feel that they have to ask. (What really annoyed me about this particular instance was the fact that Morgan said, "You're always so open and honest about everything - except your sexuality, please comment on that one thing you've kept private now." I didn't stay to watch what Sir Cliff said, but I hope he said, "Why should it matter?")

I like public rants. I post enough of them. >.>;; Sorry for the sweating, by the way - I usually try not to, unless I'm really worked up about something. :)
