I've been up to quite a lot over the past few days, so ... big update on the Life of Alice!

Last week (I forget what day, because I am made of fail), I met up with my evil twin, lady_leonida - after far, far too long. :D We went to see Marley and Me.

Glad you had a good time! It was lovely to see you both again. I'm slightly concerned that your parents won't allow you to come back to my house - I do hope the suggestion wasn't made that I was trying to get you drunk in order to whisk you off to bed! hehe ;-)

I shall e-mail you that recipe for the soup sometime for you to 'see what was in it'(!)

Glad you liked the gift. :-) I know how much you're into your rocks and things, so I thought it suitable. Plus, I quite liked the colour and the little message, so I knew it'd make an excellent gift for you.

I had a really lovely time, too, and we shall see if we can persuade Sarah, Parisa and Tom to join us next time, too (that's the limit, as my dining table will only seat six! hehe) However, if we do that, then we'd have to open another bottle of wine, and once it's open, I don't like it to go off... ;-)

I'm rather amused by your Dad's comment - is that a typo or did he really say that he thought I liked (as in the past tense) you?! You ought to tell him that he needs to worry when he sees a diamond ring...
