Reading For Pleasure
It has been far too long since I sat down and read books for pleasure. Yes, I get to read fantastic things for University, but it's just not the same. It doesn't hold the same magic, the same suspence - the same 'I'll stay up until one in the morning if I have to, but I have to finish this before I can sleep!' feeling.
So I've been going through some of my Christmas book. I'm holding off on the Lindsey Davis (not sure why), and started with one of the new Torchwood novels: Pack Animals. It is FULL OF AWESOME! I'd definately recommend it. Although it is quite gory in parts. And scary.
Today, I started Artemis Fowl - The Time Paradox. Um. I feel like a pervert. He's technically fifteen. It's so wrong. But I love him so! *hangs head in shame* I'll buy my ticket for the Hellbus tomorrow, I promise.
More coherent review of The Time Paradox will probably come in the next few days, when I've actually finished it. So far, though, it's fantastic. (I would love to see the faces of certain fans when they reach page for the first time. It would be hilarious. I mean, I bet my face was funny enough, but ... man. XD)
