Well, it's been a long - been a long - been a long - been a long day~!

Today, I decided to Be Productive, so I:

1) Went through last year's University books, deciding which to keep and which to sell.
2) Went through next year's University booklist, finding out which books I already had from it.
3) Went through all my GCSE and A-level work, which has been sitting in one of my cupboards/heaped in the bottom of my wardrobe/on my floor in a big pile and boxed up the English Literature, Latin and Theatre Studies files to be put in the attic. (The rest - and there was a surprising amount of The Rest! - went into the paper-recycling-bag and the cardboard-recycling-box.) Also, discovered several GCSE science and maths revision guides, which can be sold/given to a charity shop.
4) Went through the rest of the cupboard in which my old GCSE work had been, and discovered about five PC games I'll never play again, which can be sold!
5) Throughout the day, tried to organise an appointment with the bank to talk about setting up a new account.

This has literally taken me all day, and I've done nothing else. (I turned my PC on for the first time about five minutes ago. That says quite a bit, actually.) Next job is my drawers - because they're full of felt-tips that have no life left, and more notebooks that even I can ever use - and my other (two) set(s) of cupboards (although I reallyreally don't want to go through the stuff in one set). Then the wardrobe shelf, and finally the boxes of books in the wardrobe. (Which really need to be put in the loft, to be honest.)

When I get back from the Trip of Whom, I'm going to go through my bookshelves, trying to get them into some semblance of order - and hopefully fitting all of my books onto them. *crosses fingers*

Hopefully, when I'm done, I'll have room for all of my books, all of my PC games and all of my videos/DVDs. Hopefully. My mum and I are discussing putting more shelving in my bedroom (with glass-fronted doors to protect things from the sunlight) and getting one of those revolving DVD racks for on the landing. (Yes, the landing. It's the only place with space. *knows this sounds crazy*) Whether this will all materialise or not is another matter ...

Anyway. I think I deserve something fun after today, so I'm going to go and watch the end of Ghostbusters and drink cherry brandy tea and generally have a damn good relax! Will post about ... everything I said I'd post about as soon as I have time.

Also, for the sake of those people going 'bwuh?!', my subject line is from the frankly brilliant song Been a Long Day from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. If you haven't seen it, watch it at the very next opportunity - it's hilarious! Good, old-fashioned fun. ^^

EDIT: Also, I missed Top Gear. Again. Darnitalltoheck! *poutyface*
