My eyeballs hurt. I had a crack in one of my contacts this morning that only really became unbearable while I was at work. It was so painful that I finally just took both contacts out and called my sister to bring my glasses to me. For about an hour, I actually worked with no corrective lenses of any kind, and I had to bring the bills really close to my face to make sure I gave people the right change. It's been so long since I've done anything without glasses or contacts that I kind of tried to enjoy the feeling like, "this is what your life would be like without modern optometry." It was interesting, but not something I'd really want to do for more than an hour. Oh, and the point of that was to say that even though I only had a crack in one contact, both of my eyes now hurt. Lame.
Also, after attending my friend Gill's wedding a while back, I figured out the names of both random-ass songs that tend to get stuck in my head. One is called "Cupid Shuffle" and it's one of those songs that tells you when to go left and right and turn and what not. The other is "Get Low" which really only has one direction to give you, as a dancer. This sort of thing is the way my iPod is slowly filling up with garbage. I need better music in my life.
