Unholy Alliance Tour

Me, Sheena, Emily, Katie, and Quentin went to see Slayer, Lamb of god, Children of bodom, Mastodon, and Thine eyes bleed. We got a room in Florence, then headed to US Bank Arena to see the show, we missed Thine Eyes Bleed on purpose. Mastodon played for a while... blagh. Children of bodom really impressed me, Alexi Laiho is an amazing guitar player. The whole arena smelled like beer and pot (and no I didnt indulge in any)

Lamb of god took a while to set up their gear, before they came on the whole place was chanting LAMB OF GOD over and over, which gave me goosebumps, then the lights turned of and an orange light shined and the stage and some middle eastern type music started playing, then the band came out and broke into the song Ruin, I swear to god the concrete floor was shaking from the sound and it felt like someone was hitting me in the chest from the sonic assault of them playing. Randy Blythe gave a shout out to two of my favorite things, Gold Star chili, and Kentucky... they played a new song called Redneck and he dedicated it to everyone from Kentucky who came to see them play.

Slayer's crew started setting up their gear, lots of satanic set up on the stage, banners of dead people, the amps were in the shapes of inverted crosses, there was a movie screen that showed people getting shot, Nazi troops marching, Ed Gein, the World Trade Center tower getting hit by the plane
I know nobody on my list likes the band or cares what I have to say about them but the set list went like this

01. South of Heaven
02. Silent Scream
03. War Ensemble
04. Blood Red
05. Cult
06. Disciple
07. Mandatory Suicide
08. Seasons in the Abyss
09. Chemical Warfare
10. Dead Skin Mask
11. Hell Awaits
12. Raining Blood
13. Antichrist
14. Angel of Death

this show made me want to worship satan haha ohhh another great memory for me
