SKETCHES LIEK WHOA. Luna, Draco, Ginny, Draco/Ginny, and even a wee bit of Draco/Luna.
The prettyful finished version of this will likely be used for the "I know not if this earth on which I stand is the core of the universe or if it is but a speck of dust lost in eternity" prompt at
hp_art100.
Random head shots, aka me trying to decide between cute and freaky.
Clockwise from left, D/G, D/L, Luna by her lonesome, and an unidentifiable partial head that was probably going to be Hermione. The Draco/Luna started out as a prototype of "I am like a falling star who has finally found her place next to another in a lovely constellation, where we will sparkle in the heavens forever." (
hp_art100 again.) But then it wound up looking like a version of the sketch below this, just with a different girl. Oops.
Draco's shorter and scrawnier than I'd like (shoulders must be broadened, for one) but other than that I rather like this. So there'll be a colored version later, most likely, seeing as I really want to color Ginny's hair. And my green pencils want love too, so that'd be Draco's green sweater she's wearing. Or it will be, anyway.
These'd be the facial expressions to go along with the emotions I attempted to convey in my
hp_expertus submission. Lars Burmeister was used as a photoreference for Draco, and a picture of Gemma Ward was initially used for Ginny, but I wound up going way off-course there.
This'd be the pen version of the previous two, Draco with an extra back view. They need to be cleaned up some, but their expressions came out right, so I'm happy. There will be a completed, full-body version of this...eventually.
Woohoo.
