i beat john last night A-gain in a game of horse...that was the rematch after i beat him twice in a row last time. that aint no luck, honey chile....thats skill. mad skilllzz to be more accurate. and i took ridiculous shots, and he just kept takin safe ones...i was practically handing him victory!! thus proving that i am the superior player. yessss
last night was what summer is all about. dinner: steak with bernaise, tomato, basil, and mozzarella salad, baked potatoes, and peach pie. ummm...i held nothing back.

it took a little bit of the pain out of the sting i felt when, after lying to my mom about my grades and being depressed about what she thought were As and Bs she said, intending to comfort me (it hurt enough that she was being nice about it)
