My office, this, and that.

I finally did it. Totally unplanned mind you, but I did it. I can now dance in my office. Yes that's right ladies and gentlemen, I cleaned my office and removed what was easily a Work Cover claim waiting to happen! Although Work Cover can suck me off for all I care. They're not allowed in my office.

I found some things buried under other things, like my Limp Bizkit CD, which I think I may have already ripped into MP3s. Hmm, must check that. And although I was never looking for it, it's nice to know I can find my Nokia 7250i's user manual right in front of my monitor.

You may be wondering what prompted the clean up? Either that or you're wondering off to someone else's journal by now. The print server in my sister's office had a cardiac arrest, and in order for me to work on it, I needed to clean up a space in my office for it to sit. Since I refused to move shit around again, I just thought "fuck it, let's do this", and stayed up 'til 4am getting it in order. I even vacuumed the floor. Good thing I had an appointment with my GP today! I must be coming down with something serious...

I had a hair chop this afternoon. I'm all neat back and sides now. Quite a boring hair style really, but it's simple. The price was $18.75 last time I went (which would have been within the past 6 weeks, max.), but today it was $23. I told the girls there, if it goes up again, I won't be coming back. They tell me they've told the boss this would be the case, but she still puts the prices up. Maybe I should just go bald. Or find me a hot hairdresser chic to date :D

Rove Live is on tonight, and I intend watching it. I think I wanted to see Peter Hellier's secret Australian Idol audition. Should be amusing. And no, I won't be doing a special journal entry all about that. Laughing is good, and if Rove Live can't do it, I guess I could change over to the Comedy Channel. Meh.

I find myself sitting here for several minutes at a time, thinking about stuff since my last entry, trying to come up with something real to put in here, and then I realise if I need to think that much about it, I must have nothing left to say! But I persevere, as I aim to please.

I had a chance to read some of my APC Mag today whilst waiting an hour and 15 fricken minutes for the doctor. I won't go all computer nerd on ya. I'll just say, there's some good stuff in there, the most handy being a roundup of databases. That could come in very handy indeed.

Oh and did I mention I'm going to be a millionaire by the time I'm 30?

In closing, an awesome quote I spotted in a reply to one of the posts in curecrohns: "One never truly appreciates the absence of pain."
