Whoa, 26th of November was my last post... that's over two weeks! Actually, I think that's how far apart my posts have been for months now. I'm contemplating whether or not I should make a conscious effort to post more frequently, but as I think about it right now, I recall why I rarely post - I often have not a great deal to say! On the other hand

I would like to post more often but as I've stated once before I simply refuse to be one of those vapid people that posts about the dullest things simply because I want to make an entry. I'm rather lucky my friends list doesn't have that in it.
Congratulations on making a new friend and I'm glad the job is going well. I share you feeling that you should know more by now.
Think I wanna get married or something crazy...
What do you mean 'or'? :p
I don't feel compelled to pick up the phone on a regular basis and give them a call to see what they're up to.
Because you already know it involves future medical trouble and potentially making great friends with an oxygen tank.
The closest friend (which wasn't that close) I had in school smokes too so I'm not upset about not having seen him in over a year, myself.
It might be nice to go out for some reason, now and then, but I also share your lack of company. It seems we have much in common, socially. If it does bother you though, perhaps you can call up someone. Just one night? If you can tolerate the smoke.
just post a quick "Hello" reply to this entry?
Hmm. Quick, ey? Seems I was a little unintentionally defiant. ;)
Keep well.
I look forward to next fortnight's entry, or will it be delayed by holiday things?

*waves* Hello, all the way up there in QLD! :P

Thanks. Strangely enough, this "new friend", Kim, is a smoker :o| Although she tells me she had quit for 5 months recently, but the stress got too much so she started again, and only occasionally. I'm hoping if we do end up spending any time together, she will refrain from smoking for my sake, although that sounds a little selfish. But smokers are inherently selfish anyway, so bugger the selfishness in that statement :P

You're right - marriage WOULD be crazy! I doubt I'll be married before I'm 30, and I'm happy about that.

Correct! I'm more intelligent than to deliberately and knowingly subject myself to the ill-effects of such a filthy habit. Thank God they're banning smoking in pubs and clubs in NSW in the not-too-distant future.

It is nice to get out of the house, but when my health and mental state are at risk, I see no worth in it. And I say my mental state because more often than not, I just get downright pissed off with all the smoke and the smell that lingers all over me and in my clothes after being in a smokey environment. It is of the bad. I don't like tolerating the smoke, but I have been known to do it occasionally, and I regret it every time!!!

The defiance is well appreciated, thanks! :o)

I'm certainly trying! And it's costing me a small fortune, too :o\

Probably delayed by holidays, but anything could happen. Perhaps I'll post something tomorrow, or next weekend. If anything of interest happens, a sooner post is quite probable. Time will tell :o)
Thanks for dropping by! I fear you may be the only one, maybe besides my sister...
