'Summertime Summertime Sum Sum Summertime Summertimmmmeeee!'
Let's see! I have been doing respite work 4 days out of the week. I've been working with one client that I really like. We play outside and I get tan.
My daddy had a hip replacement surgery last Wednesday. He got home from the hospital on Saturday and is now hobbling around the house. Its hard to see him in pain. Its supposed to be a rough couple of weeks. But, he is healthy, tho, so he will heal fast.
I have my very first non-relative wedding shower to go to in the Chicago area next weekend. Her wedding is next month in downtown Chicago. I seriously have no idea what to get her. Apparently you have to buy a gift for both occasions...but I make like $50 a week so I can't get her something extravagant like I wish I could. Blah. Soon I will be a rich teacher and can buy expensive presents.
Hrrmmm...
So, wedding planning is, um, pretty much terrible. HA! Not that its bad, it just is a lot of hard work, planning, and money. I have one place that just sent me their contract to have our wedding there. But now I don't know if I want it there. All I know is that I want a giant white cake with uber-cavity-creating-thick-sugary-white icing on it. Jeremy is in agreement. And the wedding flower is the hippie-white daisies. None of them Gerber daisies will be acceptable. So, I guess we have made decisions on the cake and flowers...if only we could find a place to order them from. Wal*mart for cake and Kroger for flowers?
Hahaha. Oh, Jeremy and I have attempted to go organic. It makes the body feel fantastic and has shred pounds off of me and made Jeremy ride faster and stronger than he ever has. If you are interested, I recommend reading the book, 'Skinny Bitch.' Its fantastic. The main thing to get out of the book is just to read labels on everything that you eat. It also tells you to be a vegan...which I can't give up my cheese and ice cream (which you find out is because dairy has traces of morphine in it and thats why people can't give it up) but its definitely making us better vegetarians, and healthier eaters.
Although...I always make room for my Starbucks venti mocha mint chip frapaccinos.
