Annual Conference
Since our new MD started at my place of work, a year last April, we had an annual conference to present internal awards and have a bit of a get together and a celebration. As well as have some presentations by the relevant departments abot whats happened during the year and what's to come in the following year.
This year's conference is to be in July, and we've been asked if we can come up with a theme for the event. Last year's theme was centered around the release of the new James Bond film, Casino Royale. So we had roulette tables, blackjack, typical bond attire and painted ladies on stilts and generally casino type goings on.
So, anyone have any ideas for an intresting theme to adopt for this year? The only thing i can associate (without rooting about on google) with July this year is, the smoking ban, independance day and the release of the 7th harry potter book! which might not be to everyone's taste. We're a mixed group so it'd be beneficial for it to appeal to a larger audience.
