Pediatrician recommendation please
Hi everyone! I am having a baby this holiday season and my OB is recommending I start researching pediatricians now and have it chosen soon especially since I may be delivering early. I currently live in Davis Sq however, by next fall/winter we are hoping to have moved into our own house and our circle of area to look is quite wide. I was thinking I will try to find a pediatrician for the first year that is convenient to get to from where we currently live but more importantly is close to highways/main routes so that when we move we can still go and not have it be a hassle until we find a new doctor closer to where we choose to live.
I think Arlington/Medford would be ideal, unless you absolutely love your doctor and they are in a different area :) My husband goes to a doctor at Cambridge Health Alliance but I really dont like that group of doctors. My primary is at Beth Israel and my OB/GYN is at Brigham and Womens. I am also looking for a pediatrician that would be open to discussing vaccination scheduling (I really do not want my baby getting 3-5 shots in one visit!). Not sure if any of that matters, this is all so new to me! Thanks for any advice :)
