Hey! Mods!

I had no idea that posting with commenting blocked was now permitted here. Especially when the post really needs an LJ-cut. (Hint: See posting below!)

Ah, the triumphant return of b0st0n snark...

Are you snarking me? But b0st0n_snark" is long dead, may it RIP. Nevertheless, I take issue with the boring content of the b0st0n community lately and am pleased to see that the OP is still too spineless to follow the community rules when posting musical events about bands no one's ever heard of or cares about.

At least the days of seizure inducing HTML and flyer graphics seem to have passed...

Nah, I'm honestly not snarking you. I'm just horrendously amused by this, since it's the first time ijn recent memory where we've had something even vaguely snark-worthy.

And yes, I agree with that regard. b0st0n has gotten boring in recent memory, and, furthermore rather disparate, so it's fun to see the snark-worthy embers still glowing.

:D I was being facetious.

The last time I can recall any snark here was early last spring. It was epic, but ended quickly in a flounce, bahleetion and, most likely, tears.

It really takes massive balls to say you "always use LJ cuts" when you went to her blog to specifically complain about a post that lacked an LJ cut.

If they're just letting people know about the concert, it seems stupid to care enough about what people say to bother turning off comments.

If they're trying to promote the concert and convince people to go, calling their intended audience 'people who have no social skills (geeks) or who need a prom date with Jenny Craig' seems even more stupid.

Remarkable.

She needs to be banned.

She's unwilling to follow the rules, and she's not amusing enough to keep around just for snarkage.

Agreed. There are seven mods in b0st0n; surely at least one of them is reading this?

I think that blocking comments is closer to an infringement than being mocked for promoting "11% of the music scene that I are teh ownerz of!!" - but that's just me.

no, you need a govt actor to violate the constitutional right to free speech. anyone can infringe on free speech.

(not that anyone did in this case)
