Ok so here's the dillio. For the past several years (you really don't need ot know how long), I've been working on a follow up to my Animutation Chocolate Niblet Beans, aptly named Chocolate Niblet Beans. This has been an off and on process of brainstorming ideas, animating, procrastinating, and deciding on restarting and going in a completely different directions. At points I've wanted to scrap the whole thing and make a video to everything from instrumental avant garde no-wave music to Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind. In a very early stage I started making it as a recreation of the opening to the Parappa the Rapper anime series. Eventually I decided on this crazy idea to actually make several different videos for different songs all using the same intro and all under the name Chocolate Niblet Beans 2, but submitted to different websites at around the same time. And after several restarts I decided to just commit myself to one thing at a time.
And while I am churning that one thing out slowly, I haven't really touched it for a few months now and have been questioning as to whether it's really worth it. And now I hear things like Newgrounds trying to disallow videos with copyrighted content. And posting on youtube has confused me due to not knowing how I should deal with Movie Clips in Flash and because video compression/codecs are one of those hurdles that have just baffled me for years. Now, I could continue with a long lengthy discussion about the state of animutation/flash animation/popular culture/the internet but I think I'll save that for later just post what I have right now to see what you think. The video is about 50% done with about Forty-Some% of the song done. Some of you may have seen bit and pieces, and some of you may have seen none of this. And some probably don't even know what a Chocolate Niblet Bean is.
