and with the weight of a feather, it tore into me.
since my last quasi update a multitude of things have happened to me: (well 3, but whos counting)
1. Prom
I need to get rich. is that a major in college? im not talking dentist with a BMW rich either. im talking Arab Oil tycoon rich (by the way, i saw a UAE plane, 747, at the airport, yeah that rich) I want a different ferrari for everyday of the week type of wealth. you may be asking yourself what does this have to do with prom? everything. Prom gave me a taste of 'the good life' Our group ate at the mansion in lexington. the service was great. but it slaughtered my middle class wallet. it was $113 for two. Filet mignon was the cheap thing. but that being said, it was a blast. not to mention i look good in a tux. any ideas on getting rich? then came prom itself. it was as i expected. however i got chocolate on my nifty white tux, it made me sad. On the way back into town i was stopped at a road block. that was fun. I went two places afterwards, at the first place, i threw back a few drinks. oh yeah hardcore. it was ale8-1, i needed a bit of caffine, i was dragging. then i departed to my 2nd destination. played a bit of mario ddr and then apples to apples for 4 hours. then i realized it was 6:30. so i left. i had to perform an epic parking maneuver. i thought i hit one of the cars. but i didnt. driving sleep deprived is dangerous. speaking of driveng. driving an auto is so different than my manual. it felt so, alien.
2. AP tests
Calculus: Projected score of 2
it was the first test I ran short on time. im usually the one done first. i just hope everyone else in the nation sucks.
World Civ: Projected score of 5
directly after the Calc test i had to drive across town to get to my 2nd of the day, world civ. I owned the MC but struggled a bit on the Essays. I think if it hadnt been my 2nd test of the day it wouldve been clearer. Good thing im facing sophmores. |win| i may have got 6 college credit hours in 1 day.
Euro History: Projected score of 4
Rucker better have been right as far as the DBQ's importance. I did well on the MC part, not as well as I did on the World civ however. I know i got a 9 on the DBQ. The last Essays were short and disorganized. but hopefully my score in the other 2 areas make up for that.
3. CAR!!!
My dad needed to go to louisville to go get a movie, time was short. We were in the center of Louisville about 40 minutes after we left home. well the directions were bad or something, so we didnt make it, we did get some movies (i got a game, red dead revolver)somewhere else. but my car was running hot, steam and all. so i was very ginger with it on the way home. i was running low on water. so we stopped at the Flying J between Shelbyville to refill it. it seems that a couple of the hoses are leaking, the overflow and heat hoses. good times eh. also my power steering fluid as leaking, but i already knew that. But i got home, thanks toyota! WE watched Aeon Flux. It was not as bad as i feared it was going to be. but the interesting storyline couldve been helped with another half hour of flim, and better writing. Charleze Theron is smoking hot in tight black leather(?)pants. actually most girls are. When i own a city/nation/planet, beautiful women will be forced to wear tight fitting black clothing. sort of like muslim burkas, only good for everyone instead. I need to get rich.
