AAA in California
I was hoping to attend the American Anthropological Association Convention this year in Washington D.C. But that seems unlikely because it's right before finals not to mention the costs. Then I found out they're planning on having the Convention at San Francisco next year! So anyone else interested, anthropologist or not, let me know. You do need to be a member and pay. I don't think it's much and it would be beneficial for those majoring in it anyway. I remember it took place in San Francisco a few years ago and we were set on going, until they were forced to move it to a completely different state due to a hotel strike. So hopefully none of that will happen next year. We should all try to make it since it'll be right here in California. It'll be a really good opportunity and maybe we'll have time to go sightseeing as well. I think I will definitely try to go even if it's just me, but it would be great to have company!
