you do a really good job with it, it's really well written and intriguing. I'm really curious to see what's next, because I have no idea how you're going to get out of it ^^

Thank you - this one hurt a bit to write. You'll be pleased to learn that I *do* know what's going to happen, and that quite a bit of it is already written :)

I'm not really one for mpreg but this has really sucked me in. Pregnancy is not all happy happy joy joy for women. I can see Steve reacting this way.

I'm not a great one for mpreg either, but I have some experience of these issues myself, and my subconscious seems to want to inflict them on poor Steve!

This is so gritty and realistic, Steve must be doing a damn good job at shutting away his feelings and emotions if Danny can't tell there is something wrong, it makes me want to shake Danny and ask him why he can't see what Steve's going through.
This is so well written and part of me really hopes you'll post another part soon but part of me is dreading what is going to happen, I so hope Steve and Danny get a happy ending!

I think Steve's doing a good job of hiding things, but there's an element with Danny of seeing what he wants to see (we're all guilty of it), and also (from my own experience here of how people reacted to my problems) a tendency to think (and hope!) that it'll 'all be fine once the baby arrives'.

Now you have to write the baby birth, or whatever it may be. Because this story is fucking brilliant. I don't know what you personal feelings about pregnancy are, but I loved the way you portrayed Steve's inner mind during his pregnancy. Sorry, personal question here, but are you one of these women who doesn't want to bear or to have children? I am one of them. I never got pregnant and I think I'd feel as bad as Steve if I had the bad luck to expecting a baby.

Please write a happily delivered Steve. *puppy eyes* Did I tell you you're my fanfic goddess? :-)
PS: btw I changed my user name. I used to be lily-snow.

I'm somebody who *never* wanted and was *never* going to have children who ended up accidentally pregnant, having to make the choice between having the baby and staying in the relationship or terminating the pregnancy and breaking my partner's heart. I chose to keep the baby, and I can't say it was a bad choice (my son is 13 now and one of the nicest people I know), but things weren't straightforward psychologically for me because of the whole 'not wanting kids' thing. And then I had a sort of medical mis-diagnosis thing during my second pregnancy that left me very depressed and isolated (luckily things worked out OK in the end)... let's just say that I know all too well where Steve is coming from in this fic, it was quite tough to write because it took me back to a very difficult time...

I know where this is going, I know how it ends, but be prepared for a rough ride along the way... ;)

Thank you :)

One of these days I will write something fluffy and schmoopy and saccharine-sweet and you'll all fall off your perches in amazement (or possibly throw up, it could go either way... *g*).
