SOTUS [7/10]

Beautiful expessions, emotions, and the cute moments where he switches food, and they order each other's fav drinks hehe. Also, the only series that deals with life after love - work/life balance, telling co-workers and peers, and coming together time and time again

Addicted (Heroin) [8/10]

WHOLESOME! The BF supports "aunty" when her wares are destroyed and buys her a restaurant, and then supports "uncle" by getting him an engineering job! Neither MCs are asses either, which helps.

Even when that ho chick is like "come with me" *wink wink* and baby bf is like eurgh *disgruntled and sad* BF is like hey boo can I get a ride with her?! He ASKS! AND BF is like I need to COURT baby bf before asking him to be my boyfriend. This one made me feel really happy inside :)
.
2moons2 [7/10]

I really wanted to say 9/10...but the end of this season...

What can I say? I was really pissed off that they changed the entire cast, and then couldn't watch for a few days. But I'm glad I did! The part in ep 5 where he turns off the light for his wifu. UWU. And then kisses his forehead?! OK! AHHHHHHHHHHHHFDJKA;FJSD;KJ Even his best friend is super protective of him when creeper shows up in the hallway. UWUWUWU.

Ep 7: When Yo sees Pha tutoring, and Kit sees Yo jealous - this is a cute little scene Ok, overall I'd say it's 9/10, but the ending and where the storyline is going...blech...

The directors depicted Yo as some jealous lover and that's not what happens in the book - this made me look at Yo as a baby. The dialogue ensuing was pretty good, but...alas...this couple lost my interest. However, the other two couples were really fun to watch and the focus was mainly on them and their development, not so much Yo and Pha. Which is why I would start to get annoyed because the focus was all over the place. The pacing is also WAY off for Yo and Pha...

En of Love: Tossara [8/10]

I rated this series 8/10 despite not really watching 1 of the 4 total eps - it was agonizingly slow in the beginning, but the later episodes shone through the realistic dialogue and scenes. It's very sincere and there are no tragedies or crazy jealous lovers, just a quiet depiction of sweet romance at the beginning of their love story.
.

.
I mean... "I'll get the door...I don't think you can get up" after a non-explicit sex scene (YES!)
.
And then literally all their friends barge in the next morning and catch them nekkid XDDD 🤣
🤣
🤣
🤣
🤣
🤣
🤣

.
"Are you shy? You always start swearing when you feel shy." LOL
.
And omg...one of them declares his love in front of the entire school
.
Summary: Gun Tossakan is a pre-med freshman who has been in love with the popular third-year Engineering major Bar Sarawat since he high school. Back then, Gun was unable to confess his feelings because of the promise he made to his mum to not date until he passed high school. Once he entered university, fate had a very different plan for him. Being popular students at the same university leads Gun and Bar to collide with each other again and again until Gun succeeds in wooing Bar. Or maybe Bar too has a confession to make, too.

Theory of Love [8/10] - 2019, 1080p

The most adult college BL. The dialogue is PERFECT. The scenarios are so realistic, and the emotions portrayed are spot on. The friendship is STRONG. The production value is AMAZING since it's about a group of film majors. The show titles and movie references were sharp and clever. The ending tho!!!!!!!!!! When they graduate and all four open their own company together.
.
There's a lot of cheating, but I mean sometimes that happens in real life. There are also a lot of misunderstandings in this show and a lot of sad scenes, but the show deals with them in a careful and sensitive manner. The friends are amazing and so supportive, which is what I appreciated. The show is so good.
.
Summary: Third is a film major and has been secretly in love with Khai for years. For three years he has kept his secret love in his heart, silently supporting and loving Khai while knowing there is absolutely no future between them since Khai is as straight and a player. Because as easy as it is to fall in love, to stop is just as hard. That is until Third learns a secret that breaks his heart completely.

Why RU? [8/10] - 2020, 1080p, saved

Tutor x Fighter, Saifah x Zon unf
.
Although they never finished or polished this show, it was really hard to tell. Believe me, I was looking! The actors portray their characters really well. I appreciated the sad crying scenes because it showed that although you appear happy go lucky, you're just trying to hide your sadness. The scene where Tutor cries so hard b/c his sister is leaving and Fighter comforts him - I cried.
.c
I loved the comfort/fluff scenes between Tutor and Fighter because they were pretty realistic. I would re-watch scenes from this. Tutor is nothing like your usual stereotypical shy, confused, passive bottom and Fighter is anything but the dominant, overconfident, possessive top. Tutor does not let Fighter get away with the teasing and always questions his behavior, demanding answers and explanations. Oh! Also...pretty hot scenes HHHHHHHHHHNG! There is minor conflict/drama, and some protective!Fighter. The music from the intro and the cut scenes is so great. Zon's sister is ADORABLE. ANd the CheMistry between Blue and the other two boys :O
.c

(They hadn't polished filming, so this is how/what to watch), uncut v, analysis of FighTor)
Summary: Zon is trying to become a successful writer of science fiction due to a bet made with his sister, a popular bl (boys love) author and college student as well. He finds out that his sister has created a Y story with him and his rival as the main characters. Zon is very upset because he professes to hate Saifah, which leads him to make a bet with his sister that if he had feelings for another guy, her BL novel would come true making him a part of the bl couple she wrote about in her fictional story.  Of course over the episodes every couple she wrote about has become partners or pairs.
.
As far as I know they are one of the best BL couples up to date with the most fresh and not stereotypical personalities. Or rather: nice twists to the boring stereotypes we know. It's a refreshing change of pace in terms of Thai BL dramas. There are 2 main couples in this series, and while Covid19 has affected the finished product of one of the couples, they did a great job using what they had available to wrap up the story.

.
The story starts with Zon (an ADORABLE and friendly but anxious college student who is trying to be a writer), rival Engineering student Saifah, Saifah’s peer Tutor who’s also Zon’s old friend, and Tutor's rival who is his elder in Engineering named Fighter.
.

It aims to turn bl on it’s head, showing and smashing the tropes we love, but the characters have become near and dear to my heart. I love all the couples in the series, even the ones that don’t get much screen time like Tanthai and Japan, but the dynamics between both of the two main couples fascinate me. The one I am currently focused on is the pairing of Tutor and Fighter.  They are real to me in the way they are written and portrayed.
.
You have Tutor, who seems to be happy go lucky teacher, engineering student who works part time at a bakery. And then you have Fighter, another engineering student, a senior to Tutor, who appears to be rich, gorgeous girlfriend (the best friend of Tutor) an athlete who doesn’t really care about school. But these are just their surface layers. They are much more complex than that. So I created this blog to get into their relationship and see how things change as each episode progresses.  I hope you enjoy the series.  Please let me know your thoughts on my musings.

Special Ep:
1/4
2/4
3/4
4/4.

Let’s discuss the major characters:
Tutor-Fighter: Saint and Zee are cast respectively. Tutor (Saint Suppapong) is reserved and almost cerebral in how he deals with people. He is the silent type who usually reason out his actions. Fighter (Zee Panich) is his exact opposite who lets his emotions rule instead of reason. Their first encounter is a bit regrettable yet it took some time before they finally settle down and assess what sort of relationship, if at all, they will pursue. Are they attracted to each other? Or they simply annoy one another?
.
Zon-Saifah: Tommy and Jimmy were chosen to play the couple. Saifah (Jimmy Karn) is a popular musician and is a bit on the naughty side. This charming, lanky fellow loves to be at the center of attention. Zon (Tommy Sittichok) is shy and reserved yet can be quite stubborn when he is challenged. He is also a sci-fi writer and like Tutor is more into mind games rather than being physical. A few moments together seem enough for both Saifah and Zon to discover that there is more to their relationship than just playing music.

My Engineer [8/10]

Yes, there is character development for all the characters and realistic dialogue plus beautiful visuals. Yes this is SUPER CUTE with supportive friends, siblings, and a crazy aunt. No drama, no horrible secrets, no shame. There are 4 couples and the romance is realistic and very sweet. Protective friends, fluff, and happy times. Plus big brothers taking care of their little ones who call them "mommy" and "daddy." :D :D :D The lead is very convincingly innocent, sweet, and a motherly/wife figure who cares for his husband. Ram x King is life.
.
As If You Whisper [6/10]

It was pretty to watch. Not much romance, but cute and quiet.
.

Love by Chance [5/10]

When Ae tells Pete he's delicate and that he marks easily. And buys him breakfast and asks him to finish it all, otherwise he can't pay him back UWU! And the s** scenes are spicy! And I mean, totally just watched for Pete. Forwarded past nearly everything else b/c I knew it ends badly for some couples.
.

The MC is a cute little bean, but other than that...nonsense
-
A Tale of a Thousand Stars - [8/10]

Very different from the normal episode 10 breakup shitstorms. Loved that it wasn't a high school drama, and just a nicely different context.

Tự tâm MV, 2, 3 [7/10, pretty...pretty fucking sad!]

For international fans out there, I hope this explanation will help you understand the story a lot more... It's a love story between 3 people. The white hair guy, "Bach Lien" (aka white lotus), was the Queen's lover from their own kingdom/tribal region. She then got married to the King (usually for political reason in ancient time), but was still secretly seeing the lover behind the King's back. They got caught by the King and had to act out as assassin pretending to kill the Queen. The King killed the lover, but the Queen wanted to keep her secret and saved her lover by burning him and gathering his belongs, especially the necklace to resurrect him. She turned him into a spiritual lotus, which the King happened to spot one night and pulled her lover out of the lotus pond. From then on, the King felt in love with the Queen's old lover, the white hair guy "Bach Lien". At this time, "Bach Lien" is no longer the same guy...he is reincarnated without any memories of him and the Queen. Jealousy started to happen between the Queen and her King. She is upset that her lover cannot remember her, and the King doesn't seem to love her anymore, who is also ignoring her. She then approached her old lover, who is now the King's lover, and forced him to remember her with their love token from the past life. He then remembered her and cried, and the King also was there to witness the real truth behind their love story. Now it starts to get complicated at the ending scene. The King is raging at the sight of the Queen and her old lover, which is also his lover. He can't hold it in because he already loves "Bach Lien" too much at this point and is jealous of the Queen's past with his lover. He wants to kill her out of jealousy and for her unfaithfulness, but she was saved by "Bach Lien", the white hair guy. The King keeps on raging and wants to kill "Bach Lien" too, but can't...while that is going on - the Queen wants to kill the King. At that moment,  "Bach Lien" sacrifices himself for his old lover and wants to redeem himself with his current lover, the King. It's the most intense MV/movie-like I have ever seen in the Vietnamese Music world. This is like another level, reminding me a lot like "The Untamed" but with sadder ending. I think this is an amazing production, superb acting, beautiful costumes, and gorgeous set designs. I am now hooked with Vietnamese culture more than before...thank you for showing how beautiful our Vietnamese culture is to the world!
