grumble grumble
I finally heard from someone at the Manic Inquisitor about the plagiarism thing.
I would like to thank everyone who went over there and commented on my behalf. *hugs*
c_elisa commented most recently, and voiced my feelings exactly when she said that since the thief left my email address on the story, there was a very simple way to resolve the issue (ie by sending an email to that address, duh!), and that it's a little ridiculous that it's taking this long for action to be taken, while the story is still up there on the site. I'm going to assume part of the delay has been caused by the fact that they've never had to deal with this before, and quite simply have no idea how this should be handled.
I replied immediately to the Manic Inquisitor editor, so hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Unfortunately, it appears that my Topica problems will never be resolved. I can't seem to activate my account, as Topica won't send me the activation email. I emailed their support address every day for ten days in a row, and got no response. It appears that I'm locked out of OTL forever now. I didn't get to post "Rusting In the Rain" and I guess none of my future stories will make it to that list either, because Topica sucks ass.
*sigh*
I think I will go write about naked boys in an attempt to cheer myself up.
