The thing is I knew it at the back of my mind, really, but I believed it would be fixed because I felt that Bioware was considrate because it made things I liked. It's really tempting to get complacent about technology when you think you've learned enough, which you can't ever do, because it and the ways it can be bypassed changes all the time. Thats why Vista sucks, Microsoft are actually trying to change the way they do things to better protect their customers from tech they don't understand (where as the basic windows 95 stuff had to go, because it had been around too long to stay secure), but they haven't gotten it right yet.

Securom actually been big problem for a while and, truthfully anything from Bioware since Neverwinter Nights will have given you securom which means you could have crippled your security and have been doing so for years, without knowing it. You might not have money stolen from you, but someone could be using your identity for fraud or spam without you knowing.

Just the possibility of having securom should be scary, because people need to get involved in this stuff, is what I'm saying. Spread the word.

Crikey! I've been so excited to try out the Spore creature thingy ever since I saw that E3 or whatever show demo they had sooooo long ago. But now I'm gonna investigate this whole Securom thingy a bit more first...
