Platypus and Pocky craze
These last few days have been somewhat strange- compared to what I have to deal with usually. I've become a bit more social- I'm actually speaking to some of the people at the gym and more at my college, go me! Slowly, but surely I'm getting over my natural shyness.
My younger older brother (maybe I should just put middle) surprised me- he had ordered the 2nd Season Avatar Box set a few weeks ago, so it arrived a few days ago- but not alone. He also bought a platypus plushie. I was speechless. He claims it's a she and that her name is Ottola- Otto for short. And he's smitten with her- he carries her everywhere. I mean I knew he liked platypi... but ... am I the only one that thinks it's weird... okay... maybe a little cute too... He even took a picture: here- please ignore the weird thing under her, he thinks he's cute ^_^ . My bro's a DevArt artist, and he's good and creative, so check it if you're interested please.
On other news... the weekly Bake Sales are horrible: they suck the money out of me and pump me full of food (the chocolate!!!). Bad for the whole exercise thing. And yesterday thanks to an evil friend of my brother (AWESOME DevArt artist too- panda crazy) I've been obsessing over Pocky. I didn't even KNOW we had Pocky here in Panama!!!!- I thought I'd only ever taste them when I visit other countries. But now I know there is but not WHERE... the torture!!!!!
My obsession with 1x2 fics has found its second wind (seems like people are returning to the fandom, yay!), finished watching HYD 2 Returns, watched the 2nd ep of Avatar, did lots of translating for my classes, and made many brownies... and I still have more translating, writing, downloading, cooking and ticket selling to do... It also happens to be that time of the month for me so I'm not handling stress well... maybe that also explains my POCKY♥♥♥ craving. Ah well... maybe I'll curl up in my bed until my class starts.
