My opinion is that if a country feels the need to register their bloggers and further limit freedom of speech (like free speech would happen in a Communist country), their government has something to hide.
If this ever happened in the United States (ol' Georgie trying to control the unhappy, dissatisfied liberal masses) you can bet your keyboard that I would be protesting.
In addition, I hate seeing articles on limiting children's access to the internet. Give your children a set of moral values, and by the time they are 10, you should trust them to navigate the vast world wide web without doing anything bad. I can see 5 year olds having limited access, just so they do not get to a page full of porn unintentionally, and be scarred by the sight of a naked human being, but really, after 13 is it incredibly wrong.
And I hate seeing entire countries treating their citizens like that 5 year old child that needs protection from the horrors of the internets.
