Well well well. Yeah.
So I took the SATs today. I certainly didn't get a 1600, but I think I did pretty good. The English section was super easy. There were a couple of the Math questions that I could've done without. Me an' Alec talked a bit. I also saw a bunch of people that I used to go to school with that I don't talk to anymore (well, didn't really socialize with them in the first place. Didn't dislike them, I just didn't talk to them), and for some reason a lot of them have gotten fat. I don't know why. Guess I was lucky or something.
The AP exams are this week. I really don't want to think about them.
As a amazing coincidence to i_love_cookies's entry, I too wore a dress today . . . of my own free will *COLLECTIVE SHOCKED GASP*. I had to play my flute at this "volunteer appreciation dinner" at my church, and it's always sweltering in there, but I had to look kinda dressy, so I found this light purple dress of mine and just threw it on. mmmyep.
Rented this hilarious movie today, Waiting For Guffman (E.Mark mentioned it at one of the "Island" rehearsals). Very good stuff in there. To share some quotes:
Ron Albertson: If there's an empty space, just fill it with a line, that's what I like to do. Even if it's from another show.
Corky St. Clair: People don't like to have fire poked... POKED into their noses.
Lloyd Miller: [whispering] I don't want to interfere, but I think it would be... I think we have to work on...
Corky St. Clair: I can't hear you!
Lloyd Miller: [normal voice] I think we have to work on the music a little bit more. But I don't want to make trouble. So,
[whispering again]
Lloyd Miller: and I don't really want to do this in front of them...
Corky St. Clair: Well, where do you want to do it?
Lloyd Miller: [whispering] Well, I think we have to sit down and make a schedule that includes some music time, because I think Jane and I have to work...
Corky St. Clair: Why are you whispering? I'm right here, you know?
Lloyd Miller: [raising voice considerably] Oh I'm sorry, do you want me to talk louder? Because I think that that it would be...
Corky St. Clair: Well now it's too loud! You know, just talk like a normal person, OK?
He he. Good stuff. Finally finished my article for the school newspaper today. I got to do the drama article! Yay! I have a stupid religion paper to do tomorrow though. On stem-cell research. He couldn't assign me a good topic like the death penalty, nooo, he had to give me the stupid scientific one. bleh.
I saw Wolf's Rain tonight! It kicked ass! I didn't get all of what was going on, but it was still really cool! And all my favorite VAs are in it, including Johnny Bosch Young and Joshua Seth! (heck, I watched five episodes of Cyborg 009 just because Joshua Seth voiced the main character. Yes, I'm crazy)
Yep, another late posting. Hm. Hope someone will actually read it. Probably not as it's probably even longer than my vacation posts. I need to make them long like that. Yeah. Anyways, remember, "It's a Zen thing, like how many babies fit in a tire." Joy!
