"I might join your century but only on a rare occassion"

OMG! I have received glad tidings this week indeed!

This is a very exciting time for me for many reasons. For one thing, I started rehearsals on crew for Anything Goes this week. I forgot that crew can actually be pretty darn fun as much as being on the stage. I'm quite pleased that I get to be a part of the musical this year in some significant way at last.

Secondly, my grand master plan worked! NORTON IS MY SENIOR SEM LEADER! WOOO!!! And I shall do my thesis on my all-time favorite play, "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead!" YAY! I've already started my research/notes. Yes, I am an incurable geek.

Thirdly, I've been preparing for auditions for Shakespeare scenes on April 7th. I am seeking to know EVERYTHING about my scene so that I am fully prepared by auditions to cast it well. I love Act II scene ii of Hamlet sooooo much. I got some people telling me that they shall audition yesterday. I am excited for everyone who will come, but the best part came when Brian Kelly came up to me and said, "I'm excited for Hamlet. I'll be there!" Not "Shakespeare scenes," he's excited for "Hamlet." This makes me very happy!! (I must resist the urge to pre-cast. But the thought of Brian Kelly's potential Hamlet makes me squee with joy. Unless there's someone better at auditions!)

With all this on top of classwork I'm probably going to go nuts within the next week but I find myself not caring much about that right now.

theater, geeking out
