Magic Kaito Cast:
Aoko Nakamori azureskiesmagic: Her mother, Naoki Nakamori, was a world-famous international magician known for the ingenuity of her effects and her daring nature. Naturally, Aoko found herself enamored with magic from the very moment she was born, and she learned most of the skills she knows today from her. Then, when Aoko was only nine, she passed away in an electrical explosion caused by some faulty stage equipment. Devastated, Aoko dedicated her life to studying magic (alongside her best friend, Kaito Kuroba, who's father had been a famous magician as well). Kaitou Kid, an infamous magician-slash-phantom thief who had been heisting around the world at the time, disappeared with her. Some eight years later, Aoko falls through a portrait of her mother and into a secret lair that had been utilized by her mother to plan heists. At the discovery of her mother's secret identity, Aoko takes up her mantle in an attempt to find out the truth behind her 'accidental death.' Of course, throughout her adventures, she comes face to face with Snake and his group of assassins, and through him she learns about the elusive gem known as Pandora...
Kaito Kuroba blackjackmagic: The son of an internationally revered magician Toichi Kuroba, much like his best friend he has an affinity for magic and a natural talent for it that surpasses most. He's the school's class clown, a prankster who will to anything for attention and who showcases his magic for his classmates more than Aoko showcases hers. He has no idea that his best friend is really Kaitou Kid, but he does know that Aoko admires the thief and that makes him jealous... for some reason he can't quite place his finger on. He also has a tendency to show up at Kid heists and challenge Kid, and these fights usually end in draws.
Akako Koizumi scarlet_tantei: A mysterious detective from Northern Japan. She's known for being ruthless in her investigations, and she has a reputation for doing anything (and I mean anything) to get her man-- er, criminal. She moved to Ekoda for the sole purpose of chasing Kid. She also has a heavily vested (read: romantic) interest in one Kaito Kuroba (who she suspects is Kid but isn't sure), and therefore treats Aoko rather rudely most of the time.
Saguru Hakuba white_warlock: HARRY POTTER A sorcerer from England, transferred into Ekoda High School through a foreign exchange program. Very interested in Kid for reasons unknown, and is the only person to date that has confirmed Kid is really a female (only because he used his magic to cheat and find out that way). He is also the only one to suspect that Aoko is truly Kaitou Kid.
Chikage Kuroba: The head of the Kaitou Kid Taskforce, Chikage has been chasing the phantom thief back from the days when Naoki was donning the cape and monocle. She's serious about her job, but she also knows her limits. So while she chases after the thief with her all, she doesn't ignore her family or lose sleep over it.
Ginzo Nakamori: Aoko's papa! He's just a regular guy with a regular job, a slight temper, and a tendency to be very, very overprotective of his daughter. He works night shifts for an emergency dispatch team for the local hospital, so he's gone most evenings.
