Most people, unless you are a "musical aficionado" will not be familar with Damn Yankees.  The musical holds a very special place in my heart as I was able to play the female lead role as a Freshman in my high school's spring musical.

When I saw Damn Yankees mis-read "musical aficionado" as "music aficionado", and I immediately thought of the Tommy Shaw, Jack Blades, Ted Nugent 90's hair band project, Damn Yankees. And, of course, noone but the Hair Metal music aficionados will know that one Either!

Am I more of a dork if I own up to owning BOTH Damn Yankees studio albums. And also admit to attending "Ted Nugent's Whiplash Bash" which is Ted's old anual New Year's Eve concert. It "featured" Damn Yankees and...get this...Slaughter.
