2. I bought The Cure's "Hypnagogic States" EP (remember? The one with the Gee Way and Stuntz remixes? Yes? No? It was only four dollars, anyway). Thus far: haha, Jared Leto remixing a song about blowjobs, could he be more gay; Jade Puget obviously started listening to house in the early nineties; Gerard and Julien K's remix of this song is my faaaaavourite and just pretty amazing; I would recognize a Patrick Stump remix at a hundred paces on a foggy day, guys--for starters, it has That Infernal Beat from "Dance, Dance"/"You're Crashing..."--also, it's a neat little ditty to consider in context of FAD; the twenty-odd minute Uber Remix Of The Whole EP is pretty awesome--I just can't remember who it's by right now, oops.
Would there be takers if I upped any of the tracks? I can't do it right away, 'cause hi, the computer with the optical drive is in the shop, but. You should probably buy the EP/what songs you want, really--it's seriously four dollars, and all the artists' royalties go to the Red Cross.
3. I'm going to close the Poll On Unfinished Works (to determine what story I work on for wastethesewords) on Wednesday. "Document" is now ahead of leatherdaddy!Patrick/"The Thing About A Service" by three. I have actually been working on all of the stories listed this week, so I don't care what wins. Democracy: we got it 'cause the people with power don't give a shit.
