1. I'm catching up on TRMS, and her show from Kansas last week reminded me of the
Lawrence Massacre, and that I was excited at the outset of SPN fandom to see if anyone would draw on that story in fic. I don't think anyone did during my active time in the fandom, and I'm curious if anyone has since. Not sure how I'd go about looking for this on my own, so any recs?
2. We're snowed in, here. Ugh. Couldn't get out of my parking spot to get to work this morning. Bleh. At least it's starting to melt already.

3. I watched The Social Network again last night, as you do, and realized that even if I couldn't tell a Sorkin script from a stack of obscure cultural references at a hundred paces, I'd know it was him 'cause of the "the internet isn't written in pencil! It's written in ~INK!" line. What a ridiculous thing to say, ABS. Seriously. I admire your tenacity.
4. So I'm going to have two writing projects this year. One is finishing "Dallas," because it's been ten nine EIGHT years and I finally feel like I can stomach looking at it ever again. And it's not that far from done, honestly. Also, I miss Sports Night. The other is finishing a peri-collapse story (ie, the collapse of "civilization"). Because the concept scares the beezus out of me and I really feel like I'd write a really good story about it. I have several started, so we'll see what happens.
5. Hey, wow, last month was my 10th anniversary in fandom. Bogglement. Even though I've been watching the date get closer for a couple of years. Still. Wow.
Tin, aluminum, and diamond. I know it's late, but I feel like fandom and I should exchange presents or something. As much as one can exchange presents with something that doesn't have mass or volume. HRM.
